Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 5 July 2026. Many of the people this site serves are older, live with reduced vision or sensation, or use assistive technology. Accessibility is therefore a design requirement here, not an afterthought.
Our standard
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the site. In practice that includes:
- Text and background colours chosen for strong contrast
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators
- A “skip to main content” link on every page
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
- Proper heading structure and landmarks for screen readers
- Forms with visible labels and clear error messages
- Respect for your reduced-motion system setting
- Readable text sizes that scale with your browser settings
Known limitations
- The embedded Spotify podcast player is third-party software whose accessibility we don't control. Every episode page also links directly to Spotify as an alternative.
- Some older podcast or video materials may lack transcripts or captions yet; we are working through them.
